Heh…I use a lot of Mental Floss…but I’m not quite to Mental Pause time yet. Well, technically, but it hasn’t shown up yet. And believe it or not, I’m 42. That’s just my technical legal age, though. I have quite a few that I tend to bounce between. Social age (about a shy 15-sh) Mental age (between 4 and 104) Imaginative/creative age (2 to infinity). *grins*

I am following your blog because I love the name of it…the “brain shavings” part…
that lets me know I’ll enjoy what ever pops out…I have “mental pauses” and “brain sprains”

Think of it as inertia, which is a law of physics, and sounds much better than sloth. I sometimes announce a goal, which makes me accountable to those who I have told. You have done that on your post, so now all you have to do is get cracking. I do too–am behind in a couple of projects. Good luck to us both.

It’s good to set goals. I like to have daily lists that I can cross items off of, just so that I know I’ve accomplished something that day, and to stay focused on what I have yet to do.
